When you need maximum dryness during transportation and storage of your moisture sensitive devices, add desiccants to your Drishield moisture barrier bag. Desiccants work by absorbing moisture left inside the bag after vacuum sealing, capturing any moisture that manages to pass through the bag material. Tyvek desiccant simply means the kind of paper used to pack the desiccant. Tyvek paper desiccants are clean room compatible and sulfer free.
Another tool to verify your product was protected through shipment is the humidity indicator card. It is moisture sensitive and changes color as it is exposed to water vapor. By reading one you can determine exactly how much moisture a device has been exposed to. |
